IQNA – A Takleef celebration, which marks the start of religious obligations for individuals, was held for girl students in Islamabad, Pakistan.

500 Pakistani Girls Take Part in Takleef Celebration  

 

Some 500 girls took part in the ceremony, held on the auspicious occasion of Hazrat Zahra (SA) birth anniversary.

The Mirath Anbiya Institute, affiliated to the cultural affairs department of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine organized the event in cooperation with Al-Kawthar University of Islamabad.

A delegation from the Astan, led by the head of the religious affairs department, Sheikh Salah al-Karbalayi, was also present at the celebration.

It included religious speeches, songs, and congregational prayers, Al-Kafeel news website reported.

According to al-Karbalayi, the ceremony was aimed at enhancing the Islamic culture among girls, encouraging them to strengthen their commitment to religious teachings and honoring the important role of Muslim women in Islamic society.

He said that the Astan supports religious, cultural and intellectual activities with the aim of promoting Islamic teachings.
